Youth Resource launch

Everyone has the right to live in a safe, equitable and respectful environment that is free from violence – a right that’s set in our laws. Working with our young people is one of the ways to help create the conditions for such an environment, and our youth-led action group Good People Act Now has been collaborating on a resource specifically for young people in Hume: ‘Change starts with you’.

Created with young people for young people, this wonderful resource provides facts, tips, explanations, supports for young people exploring respectful relationships, self-care, sex and consent and family violence. 

‘Change starts with you’ is a collaboration of Banksia Gardens Community Services, Good People Act Now, DPV Health, Department of Education and Training (Victoria), Berry Street, and Northern Community Legal Centre.
