The Banksia Gardens Computer Access Program provides local residents with low-cost, high-quality, second-hand computers. Our program is supported through the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher Program.
Access to computers and internet is essential to our everyday lives. Purchasing a brand new computer is not affordable for many local people, who as a result are missing out on opportunities to access employment, training, education and social connection.
Program details
- Our computers are sold with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, and also come with a 3-month warranty.
- Highly discounted rates are available to people with concession entitlements (e.g. Health Care Card, Bridging Visa). Payment plans can also be arranged.

Get involved
Our computers are donated mainly from businesses, government and schools that are are upgrading their machines. We divert a lot of hardware from landfill and give new life to older machines.
We welcome donations of computers, as the demand for machines exceeds our supply.
We also welcome volunteers, whether that be individuals or teams (e.g. for corporate volunteering events or regular volunteering).
