Group fitness is a fun and effective way to maintain and improve your health. From the first time beginner to the advanced fitness guru, our classes are designed and varied for all fitness levels and ages.

Learn to relax and focus on your core with yoga, or  join in with social low impact exercise.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a form of martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is founded on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against bigger, stronger, heavier opponents.

Yoga

Hatha yoga is a combination of gentle stretches to release tension, postures to align the body and enhance energy flow, breathing techniques to further promote energy flow of the body and relaxation to calm the mind. Open to everyone from beginners to advanced, wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Banksia Gardens Community Services is excited to announce a new program, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions. The program is a pilot program that will run until June 2019 (with possible further opportunities to extend) and is open to all people regardless of their current fitness or experience levels. The sessions are designed around self-defence concepts and intended for beginner level participants, promoting self-empowerment and confidence.
