Come along and learn to sew in a friendly and supportive environment, with guidance from a teacher. Bring along your own materials, patterns etc and we’ll help you make it! Sewing machines provided.

Jewellery Making

Learn to design and create beautiful beaded jewellery pieces with guidance from a teacher. Including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, gifts and much more. All materials included.

Cost:                 $5 per class


The Crafty Collective

Knit and Crochet Social Group – Join us for fun and social classes where you can learn the basics and share your techniques, whilst making personal projects. Everyone welcome, beginners to advanced.

Cost:                 Gold coin donation per class


Make a Day in Hume

Make a Day in Hume is an inclusive art program for young adults with disabilities living in the City of Hume. This program has been running out of Banksia Gardens Community Services since 2014 and will continue its activities in 2017 through the proud support of the Flack Trust and the Department of Human Services.
