Client Support Program

As part of the Hume Community Justice Partnership Project, the Banksia Gardens Client Support Service provides information, advocacy and short-term support to individuals and families in the Southern Hume area.

This service can provide assistance to clients in the following areas:

  1. Emergency relief/material assistance
  2. Centrelink payments and entitlements
  3. DHHS maintenance issues or concerns
  4. Support for residents experiencing crime and anti-social behaviour
  5. Support with parenting issues
  6. Support with administrative/bureaucratic processes
  7. Search for suitable housing options

Generally speaking, the role of the Client Support Service is to connect clients with relevant services and, when necessary, to advocate for and assist clients to ensure these services are providing effective support.
